THE SYMBOLS
CROSS—The cross represents God’s sovereign authority and the superimposition of His will in and on time.
CROWN—The crown is the symbol of maturity, royalty, and the legitimate authority bequeathed to the heirs of salvation. The heirs of salvation are called priest and kings.
KEYS—Keys represent the mysteries of God that are carried by those who are called apostolically.
SHOFAR—The shofar is a trumpet that signaled the sudden shift or change in the times and seasons, through the precision and purity of the prophet’s office.

THE ARK OF THE COVENANT—This article of the tabernacle was the symbol of God’s presence and the agency by which asylum, direction, and miracles were acquired. This article is also a symbol of the priesthood and pastoral ministry.
